Necaxa, champion of the Copa MX Clausura 2018

On April 11, 2018, Necaxa became champion after defeating Toluca in the Clausura 18 of the Copa MX at the Victoria Stadium.

The Copa Corona MX is organized by Liga Bancomer MX and Asenso Bancomer MX. 27 clubs participated in this competition: 14 from the Liga Bancomer MX and 13 from Asenso Bancomer MX. These clubs were chosen based on their ranking for the season.

Toluca and Necaxa played in Aguascalientes for the championship title and just 3 minutes before the end of the game, Rayos conquered the Copa MX leaving behind other clubs such as Atlas and Pumas. They also showed us that they have the strength to ignite their history.  

In this new era, the Rayos continue to work with the commitment, passion and resistance that the institution has always had, to maintain the success that will consolidate the history of greatness of one of the most traditional clubs in Mexican football.
